NATO Produces Risk, Not Security, for Türkiye

By Piri ·

NATO does not provide security for Türkiye; instead, it positions Ankara as an outpost of U.S.-Israel-centered Atlantic geopolitics and a frontline state in future conflicts. The text notes that the risks should be discussed at the Ankara Summit on 7-8 July 2026, and stresses that despite gains in its defense industry, Türkiye has been unable to resist NATO impositions, resulting in a divergence in foreign policy between public opinion and the political elite.
